Project:
Ranch Transformation
This unassuming 1950s Lutherville Ranch house was in a perfect location but in need of an extensive renovation for the new large family. A full second floor and garage was built, adding 2400SF. The existing first was fully renovated as well.
The re-envisioned exterior takes full advantage of the new second floor to transform from nondescript brick Ranch to a stunning French Country Farmhouse. The new large cross gable and front porch are dramatic and welcoming. Wood accents, shingle siding, and board and batten blend seamlessly with the freshly painted brick first floor. Around back the existing pool got a cabana, paved patio, and mudroom access; perfect for the active family.
The Great Room is the highlight of house. With a soaring beamed vaulted ceiling, the room is still cozy with the existing fireplace as its focal point. A remodeled kitchen, den, and luxury primary suite with office complete the first floor. The new second floor is perfect for the big family with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a playroom.
This renovated house is now the star of the neighborhood. The family will have plenty of room to enjoy their stylish house for years to come.
