Project:

Mid-Century Modern

This 1960 Mid-Century Modern is nestled on a quiet, wooded setting in Timonium. The unique property was a hidden gem with plenty of potential. The new homeowners had extensive knowledge of the architectural style and a clear vision for the remodel and addition.

Utilizing the existing glass box house, the interior walls were removed to create a true open-concept plan. A sleek modern kitchen sits at one end and the remodeled floating fireplace at the other. The repurposed stone floor acts as a connector spine spanning the length of the house. The glass breezeway offers views from the front through the house to the rear exterior. A garage and mudroom were added, blending seamlessly with the existing architecture.

The house’s true architectural beauty can be seen through the thoughtful renovation. The homeowners truly enjoy their modern yet warm home nestled in the trees.
